New York Fashion Week Front Row Part 2

Ally Hilfiger at her fathers show Tommy Hilfiger looking great, i never liked her on rich girls or what she wore but she looks good here. Nothing unique or amazing but blazer, mini dress and white platforms. The only thing is she has gone for a matching clutch why do people do matching handbags ands heels!

Anne Hathway, she is loving the nude dress as much as me. The leather jacket seems to be the jacket to wear over dress, this or a blazer!

Sophia Bush

She has been everywhere in the last week. What fashion show hasnt she been to, i cant decide whether she is trying to look fashion be wearing as many differnt outfits at the shows or simply is trying to get a view on auturms trends to get ahead and become now fashionable. who knows, i would go to every show if i could! She has good style but not great, I think she could push the boundries a bit more and be a bit more daring and edgy but I do like what she wears.

I do like silk dresses and it seems so does sophia, she good good here its simple and chic, no fashion statement though. I dont like her hair in this style. Another silk dress, again simple and chic

Saying that I do not like this red dress, it looks like something a hooker would wear.

whats with the red with black detail? however she does look much better in this outfit by adding the floral shirt and a more casual heel.
Both these outfits I like, nothing daring or edgy but they are simple and chic and look good. The purple dress is my favourite outfit she has worn.
This outfit is my favourite its simple but I love the jacket over the top.
A body con dress - she looks beautful in this outfit and I like her nude shoes.

Hilary Swank - How fantastic are her shoes? Lydia Hurst rocking purple and the leather jacket look
Lydia Hurst outfit 2 a completely different look, wearing spring trends bude and high waisted.
Mandy Moore - Silk outfit, i'm not too keen on the cut but i love the colours.

Anne Hathway - all in black, i'm not keen on this compared to her other outfit.

Rihanna - i'm not sure if i like her style or not, she looks good but it isnt my kind of thing.

I like this outfit the best from her, the feathered skirt looks very chicshowing off her style in a black outfit with orange shoes, i'm not sure about her hair being smooth but she is beautiful and can pull it off

Margherita Missoni has beautiful style and never looks out of place with her hippie italian style. From rocking body con dresses to long flowing floor length dress she can pull anything off. She looks very edgy with the leather jacket thrown over the top.
Chloe - always looking amazing, I simply love everything about her outfit from head to toe - the oversized jacket, paintbox mixed coloured dress, waist clinch belt, grey tights and brogues.
Milla Jovovich is stunning and how refreshing to see she hasnt slimmed down super quick after having a baby, her figure looks fantastic!

New York Fashion Kick Off party!

New York Fashion Week Kicks off in style!

New York Fashion week kicks off with a band with stars heading down to the Tribeca Grand, where the Cinema Society and W magazine were hosting a screening of the Sundance Channel documentary Marc Jacobs & Louis Vuitton.

The Cinema Society's Andrew Saffir with Josh Hartnett above, I love Josh Hartnett, Ive had a crush on him ever seen I was 15 and saw the faculty! I love his checked scarf!

Rachel Zoe - why is she so thin! clothes just hang off her, never a good look! I do actually like her dress and she does have style but she looks like an old hag no matter what she wears.

Overall a good start to New York Fashion week, no my favourite im a london girl at heart but still a good fashion week!

Out and About

A somewhat dull week with not much happening. Its been cold, snowy, wet and windy! However Fashion week in New York has started so much posting to come during the next week and the weeks to come.

Sophia Bush - always out and about and enoying fashion events, I expect to see her at new york fashion week on the front row at many many shows. Below in a sheer nude outfit, I really like the top part with waist tie detail but not sure about the matching skirt. How beautiful does she look here! little black dress, one shoulder on trend detail. Red lips and deep red shoes, she looks stunning! Sienna Miller oh when will she brush her hair, I have a theory that she seens the olsen twins with they messy boho hair an dthink ok i can do that. no you really cant, they is a different between little styling and just a big old mess! Normally however I do like what she wears casual chic but I do not like this outfit. Even her glasses are not stylish.
Rumer Willis - she loves her beanie hat! I like both her outfits, the more casual one has everything! checked shirt/hoodie check, high wasited short check celeb sunnies check black and white in one check. she has in it all. She worked the black on black texture trend rather well looking simple and well dressed.
I love this grey dress, the detail in the black is so sexy! I am not a bow fan but I really like this dress.
Grown up style from Hayden, i'm not sure about the high waiist long skirt it makes her look like she has a belly and she has none at all! Overall though i do like the look, it does look a bit too done for my style but she looks well.
Kate Hudson in Lanvin fighting against the wind. I love her new fringe and this colour on her. When doesnt she looks great!
Too of my style icons Alexa Chung and Kelly O looking fabulous! The floral Luella dress looks good with tights bringing spring forward into winter! Alexa always looks good.

Yay a red carpet event! I was slightly excited by this prospect.

Many celebritires there looking fabulous amd not so fabulous but the sight of so many dresses has pleased!

Sophia Bush is dull brown, tricky to pull off on the red carpet and not a very exciting dress. such a shame from her.
Is it orange? Is it yellow? At first I was like WOW but not i'm unsure. what do you think?

The Worse dress of the all, she looks like a present!

Miss Page - a tad too boring for such a glamourous event! She is new and quite young so she is forgiven for playing it safe!

A pink nightmare! I do not like the neckline

Maybe the rumors are true and Angelina Jolie really is pregnant. What is she hiding under this shapeless tie-dyed tent from Hermes. Although it makes a change from the usual black dress she wearing.

Lots of hits, I love dresses!

What never goes out of style? The ageless Michelle Pfeiffer, who stuns in a simple Versace copper-colored strapless dress.

Teri Hatcher shows off her décolletage while still keeping everything on the up and up, thanks to a strapless crystal-studded Badgley Mischka dress.
Kate Beckinsale was one of only a few stars who dared to opt for a bright colour. The canary yellow dress was an interesting choice for the pale actress. I love her her bright yellow Luisa Beccaria gown, Roger Vivier Boite De Nuit Bubulle, and piles of Van Cleef & Arpels vintage jewels
Cate Blanchett opted for a floor length gown keeping her five month pregnancy bump under cover. The expectant mom – and double nominee – is dazzling in a Balenciaga by Nicolas Ghesquière draped bustier dress with multi-colored silver embroidery and Roger Vivier sandals.
Even with clouds looming over the red carpet, America Ferrera proves gray can be gorgeous. There's nothing ugly about this Betty or her lacy Monique Lhuillier gown

Eva Longoria Parker looks as good coming as she does going in this slinky Naeem Khan draped dress. Nothing 'Desperate' about this girl
One of my favourites from the night! Kate Hudon sparkled in a dazzling floor length silver number Roger Vivier clutch and empire waist Balmain gown.
Marcia Cross knows just how to brighten up a rainy day red carpet, taking a dazzling stroll in a marine-colored Monique Lhuillier gown.
Another one of my favourites, a dress I would wear myself - French actress Marion Cotillard brings a little "ooh la la" to the States, floating down the carpet and to the top of the best-dressed heap in this ethereal Nina Ricci gown.

Amanda Bynes - The Hairspray actress is a modern princess in her beaded Marchesa, Jimmy Choo sandals, Kwiat diamonds and loose braids. Fashion Ivy will be pleased she has done something different with her hair! I love this dress my favourite overall lokk of the night!

Out and About

This week has been a somehwat depressing week with everything thats going on! However quite a few people have been out looking fabulous in spring trends.

Diane and Josh, daine looks even more fantastic in that floral dress next to josh is black outfit. shame he couldnt wear colour but it lets diane shine. She has most fabulous style the more I see of her the better! She has been seen quite a bit in Paris this week. Black dress below with yellow shoes as i have said before I love black dress with coloured shoes. The fur coat over the over adds that edge. Simple white dress with bare legs and grey shoes, loose wavy hair and long tassle necklace is beautiful detail. Jessica Alba following the one shoulder trend and this springs favourite colour yellow.
Lauren from the Hills - she bought her first house this week in L.A I love the black outfit i'm not sutrei f its a tshirt and full skirt or a dress does anyone know? She has quite classic L.A style with her chanel bag and oversized sunnies. I think both outfits could do we a little something to make then unique.
Rihanna with her new cropped hair, I really liked her bob before esp when it was soft and curly. She can pull this off though. I would what Josh Hartnett thinks.

Sienna Miller around the streets of London, it has been sooo cold this week esp with the wind. She certainly likes to use her scarfs for a range of things belts, hats etc. very creative.


Kylie looks stunning in long purple dress, again another celebe follows the off the shoulder trend. The sheer material makes her look sexy even though shes mostly covered up!

The BEST outfit of the week, Lucy lui at the Valentino Couture shows! What a statement dress.
Miss barton with her newly blonde hair - did i say this last week?! who knows. I prefer her brunette. Wearing the same scarf has Miss Miller with a rock tshirt and jeans. Black shift dress detail, this outfit is a bit boring! I am loving her white dress, again with teh one shoulder style. Not sure about the matching white earrings tho. I love the style but white and white is too matchy matchy.



Rachel Bilson - coming out of the salon with new hair although it doesnt look any different to me. I really love her leather jacket. Red beanie hat bring a bit of colour to the outfit below. I would love to see what she is wearing under her coat as I am intrigued by the flash of blue.

Hilary Swank in a dress i do not like, she looks like a coat hanger in it. are her shoulder really that wide? This dress does her no favours. I would like to see it on someone else with a little more softness about them and her in a dress that flatters her body shape. Whoever told her she looks good in this should be sacked.
Miss Moore, i would of never expected this look from hera nd I really like it. Its very different for her and Its nice to see someone else in the ysl dress other than kate moss.
Sophia Bush - is there a new one tree hill or something else shes in out? or is she doing the round to be seen for work? I am intrigued by why she is everywhere of all a sudden. Not that I am complaining she does have great style. I adore her red shoes with her jeans in the second picture.

SJP with husband looking casual but well put together. I love the pearls around her neck.

Mrs Prinze, I love black and white together and her mix of it in two styles really goes well together.
Blake whats her name. I have never seen gossip girls i'm not even sure its on in england? I love her yellow coat but not keen on her dress. it looks a bit wedding dress/bridesmaid dress esque to me.

Oh Selma where have you been? I wish we saw more of her. Love the dress but I wouldnt expect anything else.
Same colour dress as Sarah Michelle Gellar wore last week, starting a mirco trend for this colour.

Star Style

I actually wrote this before Heath Ledger died on tuesday. I saved it in drafts to publish later and then when everything happened I wasnt quite sure what to do with it and left it. My heart goes out to her and her daughter and heath ledgers family. I was shocked when I heard on tuesday night to hear that such a great young actor have died so suddenly. I am not sure If its right still to continue with this post but I thought I would as I mean no harm. I did have picture of her and Health in this post but now somehow it feels wrong to comment.

What made me think of Michelle Williams was seeing her on set in Sweden and I thought, we havent seen much of her over the winter and I love her summer style. I shall be channelling her great style thsi summer. I love her short hair brunette or blonde.

I was going to end with " I look forward to seeing her this summer in a range of outfits" but under the circumstances I just hope she gets through everything the best she can.

Airport Chic

There seems to be a rush of airport celebrities at the airport recently, lucky them jetting off to sunny climes. What I always find intersting is what they wear to the airport! Comfort is the major issue along with must have sunglasses and a scarf or pasmia.

Katherine - I am not a fan of the glasses or the chav scarf but I am a fan of her bright oversized bag, definatley brings interest to an outfit! Cam - not a fan of double denim in any outfit but the bag is Chanel! Like Sienna below - double bag to fit in everything!
Gisele - casual with the aim of comfort!
SJP and family - again i love her oversized bag carrying all essential items no doubt!

Vanessa - I love the chunky boots its such a shame they are in white. Long gardigan cardigan jeans and scarf are a very good airport look, the sunglasses are any celeb must have.

Scarlett - I love the tribly hiding her hair and white sunglasses, bringing her outfit together with style! However her jeans look slightly uncomfortable for traveling in! I hope they are comfortable for her sake!
Sienna and Rhys - Cropped black jacket with casual top and skinny jeans. when one bag isnt enough there is always another arm for a second! I love how rhy is carrying all the luggage! He is looking chic with over the body satchel
Rachel - Long green coat with brown boots and over the body bag! She looks comfortable casual, where are her sunglasses?! Love this look!

I do love her style so much and shes so pretty, I wish i could dislike her but i cant. She looks fabulous on the cover on this months GQ and not a tarty way in a classic funny way! She has used her humour to look sexy and I like that! I think she looks amazing in her red white and blue bikini and she is small and tiny bout it looks natural for her shape and size. i wish I had arms like hers! I also love how from the cover to the pictures inside she only changed her shoes fron red heels to red wedges! Its all about the shoe.

Not only does she look great in the magazine but she has looked great out and about in the last week. I am not a fan of the denim jacket but as Coco's tea party showed its an inexpensive fashion for those who can pull it off. I much prefer her in the second picture, leather jacket yellow mustard scarf chic white shirt and black skinnies and i love the bag and shoes! What do you think? the glasses finish off the look in both pictures! keep up the good work Rachel, i hope she doesnt have a stylist I much prefer celebs to pick thier own clothes!
